We're still discussing it, but the new theme is completely separate. Keep discussion of the old theme in the other thread. Feel free to suggest anything for the new one, though.

Has more similarity to our current/previous ones (which was the goal), to be honest.

It looks beautiful. Not too different when it comes to the container and hence might just be friendly for some people to use. I like how you decided to stick with a different header design. The current one was too common, no offence. Dynaxel's theme designs need a revamp.
Also, if possible get rid of the Ficons and replace them with FontAwesome.
