To be Honest when it comes to religion, i'm an agnostic/atheist. I am not sure if there is a god up there(there probably isn't), but i am more than 100% sure that if there is a god, its not any god like Christianity etc as they are all man made. Just my opinion though.
Spoiler:
Which is correct

If you bring up the 99% of scientists believe in global warming I might actually rip my hair out.

Make your mind up. Is there not enough consensus or do 99% of scientists believe that humans are having a severe impact on the planet?

I'm saying that statistic is severely skewed, and mis-cited. It came from a study that was 100% legit however, when studies are used in media, they are often intentionally misinterpreted like the 99% of scientists figure that is so often heard.

Wheather or not that figure is completely accurate, it's completely ignorant to deny climate change. There is a consensus amongst scientists, no matter what Fox News says.

I prefer to keep an open mind about religion, but most people I met and have come across believe in religion or a higher power to help with life itself, it makes them also feel that they being watched over and also if death is to come their way that there is another place, a better place. I once met a guy who was an Atheist and he made fun and mocked religious people for what they believe in which was just wrong. However I don't believe religion should to be forced upon by anyone especially what happened in the days of the crusades "We fight for God" I'm sure if God had a voice he would punish all those fuckers because they killing and taking a life. On the topic of religion I love the verse "Though I walk through the valley of shadow and death I will fear no evil" that just gives me courage to do anything, lol

2. From the outside world Hillary is dangerous, Trump is crazy and doesn't think about what he says, Bernie is old but he kind of plays the Robin Hood type of role. This is what is looks like from the outside and how the media portrays them unfortunately.

3. A skin deforming plague should hit the world and turn all our skin colours to purple so we can't see each other by skin colour and people can stop using race and the misfortunes of their past. Shit would be so much better without the race factor.

1. Critisizing belief in fairies in no different that criticising religion (not wrong). Also the 1st Crudsde was completely justified, it was to reclaim the land stolen by Muslims through Jihad.
2. Robin Hood was a figure for the communist party Smile
3. Different Skin colours is good, we have differences and to overcome them or at the very lest recognise them would be great. Skin colour is also good for statistical reasons, people with similar skin colours tend to live together making grouping easier. It is well known that in the US blacks have a violent culture, identifying the group would be hard if they all didn't have something in common.

Climate and sever impact are not the same. The impact of humans in regard to the climate will harm much of the Earth but humans will be fine. The only way for this not to be the case would to make our lives a living hell in favour of a greener world. I like seeing the rain forests in Peru as much as anyone else, but the death of the rainforest or the misery of humans? I am not a satist.

You don't need Fox News or CNN to tell you that to stop climate change we would have to make life for humans a living hell. Developing countries depend on electricity to survive, electricity is powered by coal power plants, coal power plants make up the overwhelming majority of pollution.

Bernie is a socialist which indicates his open alliance with a suicidal economic system that can only exist when a government censors it's civilians to prevent debate or if the civilians are too ignorant to look at modern socialists countries which have seen major economic decline, as well as historical socialist countries which either still exist as horror shows today or collapsed. Socialism is not just illogical, it is immoral. It is immoral to economically starve your population and decimate your country.

Yea, I'm just going to come out and say that I'm young and honestly not that smart. I fell into the Bernie hype at the beginning of his campaign last year, and really the more I hear from him, the less I agree with him. I just haven't really researched any of the other candidates enough to really say if I support them or not so I just still consider myself a Bernie supporter.

As for what you said about climate change, I really just haven't looked into it enough to really debate about it very well. I probably shouldn't have even posted in this thread, to be honest, haha. What I think would be ideal is slowly transitioning to greener energies until they become more efficient, not a complete shutdown all at once of the coal sector. Whether or not that's even a possibility though is something I've not looked into.

Not sure if anyone taught you, but your supposed to argue with facts not insults.. calling me ignorant because you disagree with me and making assumptions about where I get my news from. Check out http://www.nationalreview.com/article/425232/climate-change-no-its-not-97-percent-consensus-ian-tuttle
If you don't want to read all of it, scroll down to the paragraph that starts with "Surely the most suspicious"
If you want to have a debate about the issue I will be happy to argue on the merits of our arguments, but if any of the following replies are ad-hominem there won't be any point to put time and effort into an argument where the opposition has to resort to name calling instead of logic and facts.

Mostly agree with you on 2, although I'm less authoritarian and more libertarian (coincidentally hate Sanders supporters, as half my professors were). Had to pretend to be a dirty socialist in a couple essays.

Heavily agree with you on 3. Some people are taking the movements a bit too far, to be honest. Highlighting the differences in races is how you create more racism. Victim culture is actually becoming a thing now, and it's quite sad.

This. Basically moderation. People are far too extreme today and it's annoying but usually you can break their arguments down in such away that they see how fucking stupid they're being. @meow I'm curious as to why you're 100% no going back atheist.

Religion is such a great basis for morals." If you're going to stress that religion can be a basis for morals, you better damn well take in all of the "moral" lessons from the religion you're a follower of instead of pretending to be a follower and only believing in the parts that appeal to you. Since you're the one making that point, allow me to use your own religion against you. Yes, Christianity contains great moral lessons, however the amount of immoral lessons that Christians strongly try to ignore completely towers the morally-upright lessons. I will gladly elaborate on this if you'd like to discuss the matter further. Also, you making that argument to combat mine is implying that atheists can't have morals just because they're not theistic.. which is just silly.

You're arguing that Christians tend to be more immoral than not, which is an over generalization. I actually made no implication that lack of religion would equate to being immoral. Religion does help in instilling moral values, although there's no reason you can't obtain them without. Encouraging tolerance is better than ridding the world of religion.

You seem to be concentrating on the 97% figure. I myself never claimed that 97% of scientists believe in global warming, but what I did say, was that there was a general concensus amongst scientists[1] that climate change is not a myth. There are two facts here. One, CO2 levels are rising[2]. Two, the rise of CO2 levels is impacting the environment[3][4][5][6][7][8].

Do you have an argument other than the 97% figure I never highlighted? Because so far I've seen nothing but a twisting of my words and a paragraph of whining.
