You should do that and promote me to co-leader of your group.. Ill send you back the 20NSP if you do. But seriously a lounge only group would be cool as hell. Some groups can get too stressful to provide content and one that's more laid back would be a lot of fun.

Well let me know what's up, because I have yet to ever try and join a group but I'd enjoy being in one based around general talk, and hosting giveaways and such and just giving back to the community.

I am not sure how well a lounge dedication would go. Competitions as a group do sound like a good idea though.

A better question - why would we? Many things are posted in the lounge every day, and the activity doesn't show signs of decreasing any time soon. To give people a label which would change nothing seems quite redundant, and makes it look like there's a group just for the purpose of having a group that has no real reason for existing.

A better idea and one that doesn't sound like it derived from an 8 year old is having a group that groups people together who specialize in certain skillsets. For example, a group for people good at PHP. They'd make several posts per day in the PHP coding section (which has been neglected ever since this forum was created) and help people in need, which would obviously make a big difference. Unlike this, a "lounge" group would change nothing.
I understand your perspective, but I disagree that groups must exist for essentially what you described, the betterment of the forum. I think groups can exist simply for members to enjoy each others company and serve no other purpose than letting those members have fun. I agree learning and expanding skills is important, and it's awesome when groups exist to help spread knowledge, but I don't think that should necessarily be a requirement for a group.
