RE: Help fight ISIS - Captin_Lulzboat - 11-17-2015 I do my part day in and day out. I have done some crazy things in the name of freedom and privacy. Now we need everyone to start together. In the last 24 hours. Over 2k twitters accounts have be seized and removed. RE: Help fight ISIS - Captin_Lulzboat - 11-18-2015 I have just decided to join the fight against all online accounts used for recruiting and spreading propaganda. This is going to get interesting. I have also added a link to ghostsec from chicagoanonymous.org it may not be much but if I can drive more traffic to them to gather more leads that could be more accounts taken. RE: Help fight ISIS - BlackFire - 11-18-2015 I might get involved, we all gotta do our bit to rid these cunts from our world! I wouldn't tell anyone to get involved more than just reporting things to ghostsec. Only get involved more if you 100 percent trust yourself as far as security and privacy goes. Yeah true, but reporting things to Ghostsec is better than doing nothing, I wouldn't get involved any other way personally I think it's all stupid to be honest. RE: Help fight ISIS - Captin_Lulzboat - 11-18-2015 then report away!! I have talked to the leader of ghostsec today actually. they are getting a lot of traffic and reports I hope it continues. RE: Help fight ISIS - Rebel - 11-23-2015 This is nice but I'd urge anyone who wants to make a real impact on ISIS to support measures that will actually hurt ISIS. Taking out their online presence might be a minor annoyance but it won't effect the over all terrorist organization itself in any way. Most of the fighters in ISIS are from war torn and often chaotic Islamic theocracies - assuming these people even have access to the internet all the time might be a bad guess. While the actions of anonymous (in this case) are admirable in the end it just amounts to putting a bandaid on a wound that needs stitches. It's going to cover it up and help it's healing some - but not enough for a real change or recovery. So what can you do... You could serve in your nation's military. The US and many other countries (notably now France) are taking out ISIS camps on a daily basis. A keyboard has nothing on an A-10 Warthog. You could support groups such as the Lions of Rojava who fight ISIS. The Lions are a foreign element of the Peshmerga (the Kurdish military forces). They always need support. You'll find Americans, Europeans, and more with them. You could become politically active. What needs to happen is Section 5 of the NATO agreement needs to be motioned by a member state - which says when one is attacked all are attacked. That would bring global unity to crushing ISIS. While I commend the keyboard warriors there are so many more things people can be doing to fight ISIS that would cause real would damage to their network. RE: Help fight ISIS - Jacket - 11-23-2015 Lets get their twitter accounts. That will stop them...
