I'm against it. It would be an excellent operating system for a tablet PC, but it's terrible for people with mice

Not only am I against the lack of usability, but the appearance is also terrible. A few curves would actually benefit the UI. Instead they decided to make everything squared.

I'll be sticking with Windows 7 and I'm assuming many others will be too.

Currently on Win8. I actually quite like it, as you are no longer required to use the modern UI.
Though I can agree with you, a few curves wouldn't hurt. Though I think Win7 has too many Tongue It's all up to preference

I needed to connect to my Microsoft Account (Xbox, hotmail etc) to conffirm the install. Its retarded. Linking everything to an online account is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.

you don't have to. I had it without my microsoft account for month before, and added mine simply because it is more convenient and won't hurt, IMO

yeahyourright. I don't know what the fuck happened, but we've had 100's of newfags with unreadable names join overnight and they seem to be posting on every thread even if it's years old. @Oni fix this shit.

Personally, I think it's a total rip-off and I'm probably sticking with W7.

I realise they are going for the clean and simple look, but this time, I think they went too far...
