They are not the only elements to success is the point I'm making.

It's not that big of a deal. We have already broke 250 posts today.

But you literally have to have goals to succeed? So, literally the point you are making is what?
Simple as you have goals, you succeed.

Then don't look at it. You can just use the site as you like really. I personally like it, but I like seeing how the site is doing etc and I have an interest in that side of things. It isn't to force you. However, it may be a feature that promotes growth. I think we are doing well and it's nice to see that 100% bar. Internet achievements! Yes! xD

Voted for 250, just because it seems like 200 is too easy of a goal, and i'm a bit of an optimist.

An algorithm to dynamically change the goal would be cool too. For example, if we didn't meet the goal for a week or two in a row, it decreases by an increment. Vice Versa.

Basically how I'm deciding it. If we meet 200 a day for a few days, it will get increased to 250. If it stays at 250 for a few days, it will get increased to 300.

Good Plan,

I give my humble approval

I'm shooting for the stars, I think we will get closer to 300 a day then you think. Tongue

Suffice to say, we've almost achieved that now:

In my views, given the nature of the forum as a whole, I agree that 300 posts Is a realistic figure.

This. I couldn't agree more. I don't think it will be too hard to reach that goal (300/30).
