You seem to actively promote people forgetting you. Great observation. It's a small distinction, but a distinction none the less. But you're correct. I don't think I would go out of may to be forgotten. I just don't give a fuck if they do. RE: Your legacy? - pvnk - 01-10-2016 (01-10-2016, 06:14 PM)The Real Slim Shady Wrote: Great observation. I would say, "Same.", but the character limit prevents low quality members such as myself to express my opinions in a timely fashion. RE: Your legacy? - Jiggly - 01-10-2016 (01-10-2016, 11:06 AM)The Real Slim Shady Wrote: I have no desire for people to remember me. Even if I were to cure cancer right now, I wouldn't give a fuck if 5 years from now anyone knew who I was. I don't understand all the narcissistic tendencies people have. I don't feel like wanting to be remembered is particularly narcissistic. That implies it's obsessive or taken too far. We have a finite existence, which is hard to accept for a self aware species like ourselves. Being remembered may be a way in which people find meaning in life. Although, I'm sure there are a few who would love to have a massive statue of themselves for Ego's sake. xD I would just like to be remembered by my family's future generations. What for... That has yet to be decided. I'd rather stay rather anonymous otherwise. I'm not too concerned with people remembering me who aren't important to me and I am unlikely to ever hold a position of great power so I don't need to worry about people writing about me in history books no matter how I turn out. We have a rather individualistic set of values culturally so it's interesting to see people aren't actually pushing to stand out in a crowd on here. RE: Your legacy? - insidious - 01-11-2016 A horny teenage fuckbag with no friends. RE: Your legacy? - Joe - 01-17-2016 I'd rather be forgotten. But if people do think about me, I'd like to think they'd think I was a good person. RE: Your legacy? - Pirate - 01-18-2016 I would like to be remembered as that kid who got kicked out of his own forum's admin team @Oni |
