Unless you're a reservist, you signed 03XX. Before getting your heart all set on 11, I'd look into the other 03 jobs because it's rare that it's just the 11s running in and hooking and jabbing.

I think once I'm out of the service I'll appreciate life so much more. At the moment though, I hate it.

You'll hate life, but you will not want to do anything else. At least, I did. YMMV
