Nice share, although I don't really see any point in this. I'd just have an encrypted flash drive (with TrueCrypt) with all secret data on it.
I think Veracrypt is the better option now.

Well there might be someone who doesn't want to encrypt their entire USB stick. I'm not saying this is the best method for hiding messages, but I do say it IS a method to hide secret data, after all knowledge = knowledge how simplistic it might be.
