That sort of security is up to you to provide, whether that be through using a VPN, seedbox, etc. Apparently, if you use a Microsoft account when installing Windows 10 then they can disable pirated games and unauthorised hardware with updates, but if you install with an offline account then I guess you are safe. What they are saying is if you are using there services then they will monitor you and catch you, so you are probably safe if you just don't sign up with a outlook account. I barely torrent unless you count Popcorn time and I have never gotten any letters or emails, it's down to the provider monitoring you. If Microsoft start to disable pirated games, people will soon move to a different OS or find someway to exploit it and make it work. We will see after 1 year how many people pay for Windows 10. |
