How's the rails going for you, by the way? I'm not a big fan because it's more administration and maintenance than programming but I've heard it can be fun.

Ummm. I'd stay away from really trash jobs like at gas stations. Why not work at a local electronics store? Or possibly Best Buy. You've got some options.

Best Buy, at least in my area, is extremely picky. Certified by both Sony (Tatsujin) and Apple (APP) for product sales yet was still turned away.

I work and in a restaurant as a bus boy (commis boy for you brits) and it's a pretty solid job. Fairly easy too, even when it's busy.

Well, I just got laid off from my job, and it looks like its long term, so time to get a new one, I guess. Probably will end up in retail again.
