W10 will be free upgrade to all W7 and W8.1 (as long as you're not on Enterprise). So, yeah.

In terms of "upgrading", those who have a UEFI Firmware In the Mobo, I suggest you disable Secure Boot.
Even though It's an authentic upgrade, Secure Boot can throw errors (watermarks on the Desktop) and In rare Instances, cause boot Issues.

I ran the Technical Preview a few months back and it was fairly smooth, so I'm looking forward to the full release of Windows 10 to see what it is like.

That should not be an issue. My windows are pirated as well but I still get this and reserved my copy.

I'll be performing an In depth analytical test on the Insider Preview this weekend.
The RTM Is due at the end of July, so I'll be busy disassembling It, customizing and embedding the activation. Fun and games, can't wait.

I've been playing Guild Wars 2 and a couple of other games. Runs perfect, as far as I'm concerned. I had a couple bugs that went away on the first boot.
