Big eye opener to students/staff/parents. That's ironic because she was hit by a car. Dude, where the hell do you live? Everyone I go to school with is either dumb as a brick or too stuck up to give a fuck, save the odd decent person. It's not so much that I'm "heated" over it, it's just irritating how the OP seems to think schools are fully obligated to worry about certain things that happen rather than do what they were created to do. "Is it that time of the month again?" Was that supposed to be funny or offensive? Can't remember the last time I heard that one... I realize they aren't obligated to, but they're supposed to keep us safe; physically and mentally. For one, there's this incident. For another, my friend and climbing partner, Daren, got the shit kicked out of him and was put into a medically induced coma when he was in 10th grade because he told his administrative staff about bullies. The VPs fucked him over by telling his tormentors how they found out and, well, you can fill in the blanks. In general, not all school staff is terrible, but the ones that are can fuck things up in a hurry and impact students for the rest of their lives, which is what strikes a nerve with me. IMHO the internet is gender-less until tits are presented.... and even then its gender-less +1 slut. How would everybody know that she specifically went to Syria just to join IS? Unless she left a note which honestly wouldn't work as her parents would find it and call the airport to stop her, and I highly doubt that her parents would tell people "Hey my daughter went to join IS" because that'd make them probable suspects in being recruiters for IS. And if she is in University/College and her parents aren't around, I doubt that she would be telling her friends/teachers either as they'd do everything they can to stop her. It's more than likely just a rumor and the chick is moving schools/cities. |
