RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - Libragirl67 - 04-28-2013 Yes it should be because it is a herbal remedy. That is what it should be used for anyway. But it will never be legalized. The pharmacutecal companies are making to much money. The FDA is corrupt and obviously so is the rest of the government. The illegal sales and service of marijuanna is a billion dollar industry that will never allow itself to go out of business. The best you can hope for is that medical marijuanna is still going to be legal 10 years from now. How much do you want to bet they are going to try to overide that as well. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - Sunlight - 04-28-2013 Legalization should be happening because the government will make a LOT more money. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - happyflowerlady - 04-29-2013 I totally agree, the reason our government won't legalize it, is they need the money from drugs to fund black ops. I personally, do not use it, but I have been reading about the medicinal uses, and I have bad arthritis, and it sounds like it would help with that, when I am having bad days, and have to use my crutches to get around the house. I think I would at least try it, if it were legal. I tried it way back years ago, and I was so dizzy and sick, that I said never again, but now I am rethinking that. I think that people should be allowed to have enough for personal use. If we can grow vegetables in the back yard, why not a pot plant also ? Seems reasonable to me. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - Aizen - 04-29-2013 Either way, people will continue to use marijuana, so legalizing it won't make a difference. May as well legalize it. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - Red_CnC - 04-30-2013 Although I am all for legalizing it, Marijuana actually has some bad effects on some people and the continued use of it could cause memory loss and confusion. Plus in some cases people lose touch with real life. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - AceDragoonist - 05-06-2013 It should be legalized. It has a lot of medicinal benefits as well as giving the states an increased revenue from taxes. It also saves the states money from not having to prosecute people for petty possession charges. Crime rates would also be lowered as a result and no one has EVER died from smoking marijuana. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - mauricemoss - 05-07-2013 Absolutely. Lets forget all the potential medical benefits for a second. Give me any single reason for why marijuana should be illegal? Most countries have alcohol and cigarettes legal, and they cause much more harm than pot. Still pot's banned, and alcohol and tobacco aren't? Dunno, is it because of their fear of losing a good chunk of revenue through consumption of alcohol and tobacco? I'm all for controlling and taxing it, but criminalizing marijuana and lumping it with other "harmful" drugs defies all sense. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - ChristoJ - 05-07-2013 When all other potentially harming drugs are sold out there why should Marijuana be banned. It should be legalized. RE: Marijuana - Should it be legalized? - danealegana - 05-07-2013 It should be legalize. I have read that tobacco is more harmful than marijuana. The only reason that I can think of why it isnt being legalize since there are a lot of feedbacks that it should be legalize is because maybe some politicians, police officers and other government personnels are getting some cash from those marijuana drug lords to continue their business. So, if marijuana is legalize then I assume the price would drop significantly and those politicians involved would get nothing since those marijuana drug lords have no more business. |
