A good idea like someone said would to be to take a picture of their desktop, set it as their desktop and hide icons. You could also if you do know a programming language, create an unclosable program or website which prompts the user every time they try to close it - I'm sure you can find multiple of these on the web though if you don't want to create it yourself.

In my High School days, I corrupted every hard drive on the school network (which they had to replace, sorry for the tax-payers dollars there) after getting my EOC Exam answer keys; which were saved in .pdf format.
I was pretty safe, but just because I was known to be 'tech-savy' I was the first person they looked at. I never got in trouble, but it was a close encounter.
