RE: Windows 8 - Sunlight - 04-18-2013 The start menu get's kind of annoying to me because you have to search for the logo. RE: Windows 8 - ѕιя αℓєχ fєяgυѕσи - 04-18-2013 not exactly :/ works pretty same as 7 press the win key and type in the thing you are looking for and it will be shortlisted on you start screen RE: Windows 8 - Zurchi - 04-18-2013 I hate everything about it. I'll always stick with Win7. RE: Windows 8 - Mod Mark - 04-18-2013 I don't like Windows 8 at all. Windows 7 all the way. RE: Windows 8 - Faked - 04-18-2013 Yes, i am so use to Windows 7 i cannot switch at the moment. RE: Windows 8 - Sunlight - 04-19-2013 Too bad all the new computers on the market have W8 preinstalled. RE: Windows 8 - Faked - 04-20-2013 Yeah, that is so gay i wouldn't even stand it i would probably down-grade it. RE: Windows 8 - Demo - 04-20-2013 I'll probably (try to) stick with Windows7. RE: Windows 8 - Red_CnC - 04-21-2013 Well it certainly isn't as work efficient as windows 7, it looks good though and is nice to use if you have it on a touch screen. In terms of speed it's pretty good, a tad faster than 7 and has more options for managing files. If you don't code and work all day on a computer I don't see a downside for upgrading. RE: Windows 8 - jd - 04-21-2013 I currently use Windows 8 and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If you wish to use it like Windows 7 as I do most of the time than just use your desktop. When you boot up you'll start at the start menu but after you click into the desktop 'tile' it is pretty much windows 7 with a few visual updates. And for those complaining about the start menu, I barely use it. The feature that allows you the use of a side-panel with the options such as search, settings, share, start and devices I've found really useful as I just search for a program I wish to run, or shutdown from the side panel. There are no issues with Windows 8 that I've seen so far, so I would say definitely upgrade, it's worth it! |
