I am a windows user and now I switch to kali because I want to learn hacking... Kali have a lot of tools for hacking it's up to you how to learn to use them. I use kali for developing website also. It is up to the user how you use the kali. well even though i met error but i try hard researching to find solution Smile

if you want to lean how to hack look at how the tools are made and what they do don't use them because they are pre installed you will learn nothing and there is a big change you don't know what you are doing Tongue

I agree. developing/changing software that you will use, you will learn the tools better. Which is why I would like to know which software is used in kali.

What I like about Kali... The persistence part...
I have 2 pocket size USB drives of 2TB and I installed an encrypted persistent version on both of them...
The first USB drive is a 32bit version and the second a 64bit version.

I can take these USB drives anywhere with me and plug it in every computer that is able to start up from USB and use every computer as my own.

You can do that with any OS. Even windows 8.

I basicly have a specific 4gig pendrive that has only Kali Linux for live boot. And I feel so comfortable sometimes. orgy Although you can install anything you want to any Linux distro it depends on your needs.I personally have properly installed only aircrack, macchanger, metasploit, nmap and crunch wordlist creator. Thats cool for me I don't need all that stuff Kali Linux offers preinstalled, if you really thing you gonna need everything that Kali Linux offers sometime its worth installing it of course.
