RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - dropzon3 - 05-03-2014 If you're wanting to run OSX on the PC hardware reference: http://www.hackintosh.com/ Otherwise you can probably install it inside a virtual machine with VMware or VirtualBox. You will absolutely run into driver and general performance issues. It sounds cool to do but its not really worth the effort in my experience and do some research ahead of time your chips might not even be supported at all. You'll also likely run into overheating problems, back when I ran a hackintosh that was one of the biggest issues I don't think it has improved much since then. I totally agree with that, but as developer i cant without a real Mac. @chmod here you can find more about the Apple dev programs: https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/ and yes you have to pay allot to Apple's programs but its really worth it. It's not like android that every app will be accepted in their store, every app will be reviewed by Apple before it will be published. So in my opinion if you dont need OSX dont bother yourself with trying it to run on other systems, saves you a lot of time / headache

And what's wrong with having everyone being able to submit their apps to a distribution network? I can't see how it's worth it to be honest literally no one else charges developers to make apps for them and it hasn't caused any of them any harm whatsoever. With android the users are the ones who determine whether or not an app is worthy of being in the store not a few individuals who are just in it to make money. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - nash211 - 05-05-2014 Thanks will have a better look always looked at unibeast, didnt like that too much. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - Isaac - 05-06-2014 If your computer has a good processor with a decent amount of RAM, then I suggest running MAC on VMware. I wouldn't recommend trying to dual boot MAC since it would be impossible to find drivers for it. If you just want the MAC experience such as a good dock (not like that shitty Rocket Dock on Windows) then you should dual boot Ubuntu and install this on it : http://www.glx-dock.org/ It looks almost, if not better than OSX. Besides, Ubuntu is also a Unix based operating system, just like MAC so the CLI (Command Line Interface) commands are almost the same. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - DestructoSphere - 06-10-2014 there is a known pc hardware configuration known as hackintosh http://www.hackintosh.com/ that as far as i know is supported, i have not tried it but there is a compatible hardware section. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - BORW3 - 06-19-2014 Fact: -90% of Mac users think the monitor determines the speed of the processor. -98% of Mac users use their Mac's to key in "facebook.com" only, and chat. -99% of Mac users baught MAc's because they thaught expensive = performance. You spelt bought wrong :troll: On a serious note though, its all depending on your windows version, like imagine installing it on windows XP RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - Netero_mybb_import16981 - 06-19-2014 Hmmm I didn't read the previous comment so I don't know if this was written before.I don't suggest having Mac Os on a Windows computer. It is true the software will run ,but there is the problem that results from hardware. Mac OS as far as I know is build specifically for Apple's hardware. Correct me if I'm wrong
