Since I'm not a rock or metal listener, not sure where this fit but I really really like this Canadian band The Agonist.
Probably more of a metal but I really like the female vocal and their guitar is pretty good, it has recognizable melodies in it.

I know some people dislike Lordi. The band makes great music IMO.
