I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 as well.

It went through a full laundry cycle including a soak period. At least 90 minutes in soapy water or getting spun.

48 hours in rice, no worse for wear. Show me any other phone that can do that. Had a case on it, but the case was by no means waterproof. There was water when i pulled the battery out. I dont know how you define sturdy... but im impressed.

That's good to know, they don't feel so sturdy but I've dropped mine a few times and still works perfectly well. Slowing down a bit now though, but I imagine it's the shear volume of crap on it
