Great tutorial, very well documented. I'm not familiar to Linux, i just use backtrack for penetration testing etc. But i will try this when i install Vmware back

Also you can use nessus in conjunction with Metasploit, so you can have it autopwn all the vulnerabilities that nessus finds. You can simply use db_import in metasploit to accomplish this. Other alternatives are openvas which are of course free and have no IP limitations. I find it's always better to use two vulnerability scanners, some are batter than others and yield different results.
