I don't think you should say that "a real computer programmer not a script kiddy" as this is a community , whatever problems you're facing just write it . As everyone here has the right to see your doubt and try to solve it , after all everything is for learning , so if there are some script kiddies then they might something new from your doubt . So go and tell what you want ?? RE: programming - Psycho_Coder - 04-17-2013 (04-16-2013, 11:49 PM)raken Wrote: wanna speak to a real computer programmer not a script kiddy. Is there a way to literally take control of the windows 7 OS in order to find the encrypted files buried deep within the system . A friend of mine told me that all OS companies left a back door encrypted deep within there system when they were created, And only the engineers of that OS can access it. So , you are trying to hack into a windows 7 OS or you just want access to the encrypted files . Or you want to exercise more control on win 7 by unlocking its features . Is this what you are saying :- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Encrypting_File_System have a look at this :- http://superuser.com/questions/291107/decrypt-efs-files http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-is-Encrypting-File-System-EFS http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc721923(v=WS.10).aspx you can use this software :- http://www.elcomsoft.com/aefsdr.html RE: programming - Psycho_Coder - 04-17-2013 (04-17-2013, 05:30 AM)raken Wrote: My field of expertise is encryption on a quantum level, it's new, complex and, highly advance but the information I'm after is this. But thanks, though i can find a lot of encrypted files i think. but I'm after the back door within the system. RE: programming - Solixious - 04-17-2013 Well, if you are after finding something that is not a public knowledge yet (a backdoor in this case), the best chance you have of finding it is to sweep and go over each and every minute detail in each and every file. It could be hidden anywhere. I doubt someone would be willing to do that much for you for nothing.
