Msconfig is in the guide in my second post. It's important to stop the process triggering but doesn't allow you to delete the virus/malware like the Original post explains. Please use thanks button instead. RE: How To delete viruses. If you do accidentally click on something infected you may find yourself having to go back to msconfig to turn it off again. Once you have deleted it however you won't need to worry about it ever again ![]() It would be cool if you haven't already applied this tutorial to cleaning your computer and take some print screens when you do get round to it. I'm sure you will have some very nice examples and I want us to have some in the thread, because then I can point out various traits, they always look bogus for obvious reasons. Im virus/malware free for now, I'll take some print screens next time I get one if we still don't have any picture examples for the thread. RE: How To delete viruses. (Noob friendly) - SergenteJoker98 - 02-28-2013 Thanks for your advices! RE: How To delete viruses. (Noob friendly) - Riverclawz - 02-28-2013 You don't want software sitting around on your pc that you know are bad, some hide from the taskmanager and look or are added to required windows processes, you realy, realy don't want any unwanted software on your pc, certainly if you don't know what they are doing. I suggest you install malwarebytes and a good normal av and keep it running it's worth the spent RAM and processing power in the end
RE: How To delete viruses. (Noob friendly) - sneelika2013 - 12-21-2013 Just a TIP From me... Many viruses now can bypass tasgmgr RE: How To delete viruses. Malwarebytes anyone? Seriously Malwarebytes is instalable in almost any situation and is the #1 rated malware removal tool being 99.9998% effective against all forms of malware....... also if the malware processes are killed and the files are deleted you may break your system since the malware can infect resource processes and core OS files.... Plus what if the malware (like almost all malware today) has persistence then it will just keep coming back upon restart (or after you close the window or folder). |
