Don't forget to try clean the CPU slot and put on it a bit of thermal paste!

Check computer temperatures and Fan speed. If its high, like around 103C then yeah your fan might be having issues.

This happened to me after I installed Windows 8 on my family desktop, the PC would randomly rebooting because it would find updates and install them. This probably isn't your problem, but disable automatic update installation. Might help.

You know enough to reinstall Windows (whichever version you have) and change your RAM's slot (and I guess clean your CPU in the process) and yet that's "all" the information you'll give us?
It doesn't add up. It doesn't take a genius, or an expert, to figure that out.
Any error messages? OS version? GPU temperature? Does something trigger it? Any plugs out of place? Come on, take it seriously.
