RE: [Python source] basic virus infection and polymorphy - Deque - 02-15-2013 I don't consider learning the concepts pointless. Actually it is more useful than learning step-by-step guides. Once you understood a concept, you can create your own stuff or defend yourself from other's creations. And: Infecting source files is not new. There have been i.e. gcc trojans which infected source files of programmers right before compiling and removing the added lines right after. Tricky, huh? There are also Batch viruses (real ones) which append code lines and just add a goto at the beginning to jump to the end. But I don't know of a Batch virus that was really successful, which shouldn't be surprising, though. RE: [Python source] basic virus infection and polymorphy - chmod - 02-15-2013 Very nice thanks for the share! RE: [Python source] basic virus infection and polymorphism - Danus - 03-03-2014 Amazing tutorial, just amazing. RE: [Python source] basic virus infection and polymorphism - PrimeD - 03-04-2014 I gotta still be a noob, cant figure out the bug. I also have not seen 90% of the functions in this. I take it as a challenge to find the bug. Can I PM you to see if I found it? It may take awhile though
