FireFox made an OS but from what I hear it's still in early development. It's mainly for mobile phones but I think there's a PC version as well.

Android just made a PC version, it's still in development as well however, but they are giving away betas.

I have a small laptop running on Android. Probably the worst operating system to stick on a laptop in my opinion. I would much rather run Arch on it, except I can't figure out how I would go about installing it.

That's strange but google draws the source code for both Chrome OS and Browser from chromium and i never saw that Chromium belongs to google.
Chromium is an opensource browser same as WebKit and i think it's also available for almost all OS.

Again a linux based OS like android and currently only for mobile phones, an OS developed solely for best web browsing experience and currently in development (will be developed for tabs) no news for PC, nor i think will be available for PC(since it's linux based and people don;t use linux for surfing on the web).
Join the development, make apps submit to apps store and have fun!
