If your wireless chip can't operate in monitor mode, it's impossible. And no phone or tablet manufacturer has drivers (firmware) for this, unless somebody rewrites an existing one for your particular chip, which you will use to replace your installed driver.

That's what I said before ... without packet injection and monitoring mode you can't do this even If you installed backtrack on your smartphone

Yes... but you only mentioned the injection part, so i thought i add some more info, as monitoring comes before the injection, and this is possible on those 2 devices and some python scripts. Unfortunately injection still not works, but i'm confident it will soon
Anyway sorry, no offense intended, your tutorials are much more comprehensive than my addition

Yes... but you only mentioned the injection part, so i thought i add some more info, as monitoring comes before the injection, and this is possible on those 2 devices and some python scripts. Unfortunately injection still not works, but i'm confident it will soon

theres to ways to do this
1. install backtrack to your phone
you need a rooted droid and some good specs also to run smooth, but then you run into the prob of not getting your wifi card in to monitor mode
so either code the drivers or wait for this one time thats like half way done, but keep in mind they be doing this for a couple of years and they still working on air crack for droid.
2.find the right kind of wifi card install it in your droid( if you skilled anuff) and code a program to do the hacking.
dont bother with any so called android hacking apps, either there fake or work with only one type of network that you will never be around

There is a number of programs that u can use on android that could hack wifi with but i don't think u can hack networks that have high security like WEP2 one of the programs is STKEYS

there is a app called arpspoof that allows you to crack some old modems and gain access to their internet.
Also i have few apps that lets you sniff on connected network and higjack their browsing.
works great for Facebook.
