research and a little educated guess work.
you can use that as a template for your future links. just replace the number with the thread id you want.
if you want a thread id just go to the thread you want and hit quote. in tbe url you will see tid=xxxxxx
xxxxxx is the thread id you want.

Oh, manually... I was looking for an automatic way like a setting of some sort.
