RE: i am a newbie for linux - Shodan - 12-04-2012 Use Linux Bible it's a big thick book that will tell you everything you need to know about Linux. Books are great, no doubt, and an essential starting point for learning to gain an idea of what to expect. Yet, experience has no substitute. Pick a Distribution that you find will meet all of your needs (infer what you're *comfortable* with), and use that as your starting point once you're ready to apply what you may learn from the aforementioned books. RE: i am a newbie for linux - A.W.H - 01-22-2013 I will also recommend Linux Bible. RE: i am a newbie for linux - anonymous_chars - 01-30-2013 sorry,is it a book or something else? |
