(Antiviruses are not for showoff's) If you really want to test your antivirus then grab a crypted RAT and test it with your antivirus and antiviruses like Bit defender, Avira, Kaspersky. Clam AV was one of the first, user-friendly for Linux, I used to have an antivirus on my Symbian (a few years ago) and there are quite a few on iOS. Malware developers don't target only Windows, they target whatever they need compromised. And I'm pretty sure that the EICAR test isn't limited only to Windows. As Frooxius said, it's just text...
