RE: Where to start with hacking! - Fourth Element - 09-26-2012 OK, but from this site, from where I should start? I know there is nothing called "Formal structured start" in hacking. But, somehow, there should be some guide, like "You do this, using this first" thing. I am very good at Java. Learning C++. Please help. RE: Where to start with hacking! - darkv0id - 10-13-2012 I enjoyed this thread. It is important for newbies not to go off bragging about there first hack, you should be proud, but it isn't a bragging right thing. The most important thing is to get a goal, you will be confused as a beginner hacker if you just type "how to hack" in google. Hacking is a broad subject. Nice post. RE: Where to start with hacking! - mailman0912 - 10-14-2012 thank you this was very informational but i found some error in spelling.. "The Middle Class Hacker: They know a lot about hacking, and are about to step up to The Elite Hacker. But they do still have a lot to learn. They have a lot of skills, and most or some of them will be able to wright their own programs or find the vulnerabilities by themselves." in the above excerpt from the very first post. the wright should be write. please correct it. thank you. If you want to dive into website development or hacking. I would recommend you to look into PHP since almost every website is built up on that these days. If you want to look into programming apps for computers you should start out with Python. It will give you a basic understanding about how programming works, you can move on to a more advanced programming language. (10-16-2012, 11:18 PM)nirmit14 Wrote: Nice Post.. RE: Where to start with hacking! - 2l88 - 12-11-2012 Thanks for the great tutorial. But it would be nice if you could give some information, what to do after reading this tutorial. I for example started a while ago creating websites, what means that I know HTML, php, javascript, perl and sql. Can you recommend me something? Do you want to hack websites/work with website security? Do you want to be a web-developer? Do you want to work with OS security? Pentesting? You Will have to provide me with a little more information about your dreams/goal. After that i will be able to give you a precise answer, and guide you in the right direction. -you can either contact me on Skype or through PM, if you don't want to write it in this thread. RE: Where to start with hacking! - ICEMAN - 01-08-2013 This is a great read for a novice, i want to learn more about how system work and fix problems and maybe play a prank or two so i guess i would be a grey hat. Can you recommend me any threads for a bedtime reading on understanding internet security/website security? Cheers! |
