Yeh Overboss, ALOT of things on there are scams or fakes but it only takes 5minutes to work out 100% what is and whats fine.
Its safe anyway upto £2500 if used with PayPal for payments. I once bought the Nokia N96 from there and after a week it still hadnt turned up, i filled a report with eBay and 3 days later my money was returned in full with a nice little £20 voucher code as a sorry gift
@ Sage, its good for making money if you have alot of free time. I run two business's on there and make more money each month than my actual job!

Of course I like it, I don't see any reason not to. I bought there something (always new, not used, I don't like used stuff) twice so far and it was way cheaper than if I bought the same thing in my country. And that includes shipping to another continent.

I think you can use seller's rating for that, if you want to be safe. I always checked if the seller had lots of positive feedback and thanks to that, everything went okay so far.

The seller has lots of positive feedback, it doesn't mean that seller not a scam. Some seller they buy a seller account that has lot feedback.

Ebay are normally pretty quick at finding account sales. I logged in at my local library (due to home internet upgrade) and they got in contact via automated phone call to make sure the account was still in my use.
Also, like i stated before, should you get scammed and you use PayPal, they will cover you upto £2500.
So it is safe.
