I'd say human beings have been pretty self-destructive on their advancement path. There are too many of them, and they are all consuming loads of electronics, creating factories and power stations that all contribute to warming up the earth more than it has been. They are also getting rid of all of the natural forestation to absorb the heat. So I guess if humans keep up with the rapid momentum of self-destruction, we're well on the way to destroy the earth. Global warming is one of the warning signs .
