there's no benefit in what was originally done or what he could have done regardless
now people with a low repuation count are more susceptible into going into the red due to lower count and thus opens scale for abuse on a larger scale than before
kind of silly, no matter what he could have done

But did they? If someone slaps you with a dildo, then you can complain mainly because that was real life. This is reputation, a value in a database on a site.

To clarify, the reputation was lowered because very few people can give reputations of +4 now. If it wasn't done, it would be incredibly unfair to new users. The staff reputation was removed because I realized that I gave reputation out too often (as did other staff). The banned member's reputation was removed, because it is no longer valued.

Oh, I remember suggesting this a while back, I'm glad to see it's now implemented. I'm also glad you did the reset this way, as people can keep their certain notes and comments from other past members.
