I don't see the point of a rep reset. All I could it doing is annoying some people that have large amounts of rep and slightly pleasing those who don't have a lot but care about it. Plus It'd take me ages to get back to my rep level.

I would be for it, simply because I would like to see what happens. The idea of a clean slate for Sinisterly's 3rd year seems neat.

What do you mean, "to see what happens". I think that's like viewing rep as more of a game and an ego-stroke rather than just simply how others valued you in the community.

Changing all the +2s, 3s, and 4s, to plus 1s and so forth without removing the comments I can understand but, the comments are very important imo.

Exactly. They are representative of your past encounters and interactions. If being fair is an objective for newer members' sake, having everything set to single 1's gets the job done. But a complete reset is not fair to older members who have been contributing in the community and earning their reputation in return. Continuous reputation resets greatly diminish the value of reputation on the forum and achieve exactly what you probably don't want reputation to become. A mere number's game and a power struggle rather than a representation of you value in the community.

The problem with this is immediately afterwards everyone who is well liked in the community will be back to 100 rep in a day.

Not necessarily. It took me a year to build up to 91 reputation, mind you, this was when Elite and Super Elite were around. That means users could add a subtract 3 reputation points and 4 depending on their user group. Now we're all in Legends, and there is only two legitimately upgraded users, we will get 1 point per user the reps us.
