I used to think socialism could be a good form of government but then you have to factor in one thing.......the greed of man. Because people are greedy and are generally self serving socialism will never work the way it should.
I personal would choose to go with a democratic form of government. However one with a much smaller central government but one that wields enough power to get done what needs to happen.
As for economic system I am opposed to a command form in which the government has all the say. I would prefer some form of capitalism with limited government interference (only one issues like monopolies and bad business practices.)

well I like socialism as I believe that everyone has the right to basic needs but I believe efford should be rewarded which is capitalism, granted you could be for both democricy and socialism(which I am)

Democratic Republic and Capitalism mostly. Obviously, you can't be absolute on anything and feel that those who can't take care of themselves should receive help...disabled, elderly etc. But I've always felt pure socialism stagnates an economy too much and decreases ingenuity like technological and medical advances. No system is ever perfect though.
