i have tried to run a few forums myself, i agree you need people that are interested when starting for promoting etc. very useful post thanks

Nicely written tutorial, would help people starting to create a forum that generally don't have a clue what they are doing. I do prefer SMF, but I like the old feeling it gives when using it.
