Also, I think the "powered by MyBB" and "Theme made by..." bar should be moved from the top of the page, it looks awkward because it looks like it doesn't belong there
Alright, thanks. I'll work on the purple a little. As far as the top bar goes for the "powered by MyBB" & "made by Equinox", this theme is my own custom theme for my own forum board, and again, it's to be a bit unique. Besides, I don't know anyone that actually uses the footer links anyways. So in a sense it'd help advertising MyBB and MyBB Solutions a bit more.

Yeah, you do. Though it still doesn't look like it belongs there, because it's as it's own element. maybe you could make it float:right; on the forums tabs/categories bar?
