I was not referring to you guys hating linux, you obviously don't. But this is why others hate linux, you have a help community less helpful than that of Windows. Everyone just comments on which distro the poster is using, without actually even really helping.

Posting from Ubuntu ATM, at home on my desktop I have Fedora, probably going to get switched for windows 8.

Nah, just Ubuntu. If he had Crunchbang, then I'd help him. I just don't get why he'd ask us but not theo fficial Ubuntu support forums.
