Including gang violence, it is the majority just based on that they commit murder more often.
But your mass murderers usually obtain them through family members, or stealing family members' guns. I've personally only seen three cases of homicide where the shooter bought guns themselves. And just 2 of those were mass murders.
Those people are stupid and didn't store their guns properly the majority of the time.

Helicopters are flying all over the place, even a province over looking for this guy. Currently the police think he is hiding in the woods, but they won't go in because they think there are booby traps. I'll keep you guys as updated as best I can since I live pretty damn close. And this guy is fucking prepared. He has a bow and arrow, knife, two high powered rifles (I don't know what they are) and full army camo.
