As far a I am aware that 'competing site' got DDOS'd by someone from these forums first.
They called sinister.ly's registrar and had them take down the forums in retaliation.

Even funnier is that they got taken down and blamed it on Oni. (It wasn't Oni, but it was a member from SL)
