Any time I have one during school it gets picked up on pretty easily. RE: Morality. - lux - 03-30-2014 (03-30-2014, 02:14 PM).Shebang Wrote: I'd say so, yeah. As sick and twisted as it sounds. Use everything you have to your advantage. Even if they're not good. Is it really "playing it to my advantage" if I can't control it though? I'm certainly not going to force it. Do not force it, still try to over come it, but if it does happen you know she'll help you. Alright, thanks for your suggestions
RE: Morality. - Feat - 03-30-2014 Shebang, you're too nice. Honestly(and I'm speaking from experience), don't let anyone get in between you guys simply because you don't want to ruin their day. I've been both at the butt and delivered that. It can either end with you loosing a great opportunity or not preventing something bad. Go for it. RE: Morality. - cr33pyguy - 03-30-2014 Just ask her. I mean, he can still have a shot with her later if he wants to. Also, on your panic attack/stress, please just let the conversation flow, and just direct it towards the topic. You'll survive. RE: Morality. - Civil - 04-21-2014 Everyone in your life is an extra, you can't be too nice, because there are very very very few people who will return the same level of kindness, you need to focus on your own happiness, if you make everyone else happy you'll never have any time for yourself, plus, if you don't go for it, you may never get a chance with her, and then you're left with doubt; "what if I had asked her to prom, how would life have been.." at least if you ask her you can never regret not asking her and letting the opportunity slide. RE: Morality. - Contingency - 04-21-2014 If you want something there will always be others who want it too, what makes them any more entitled to get it than yourself? Would they show you the same kindness? Probably not. Personally my morals follow this rule. 1. Would they do the same for me? 2. Are they a good person in general? If the answer is yes to both then I would let them have what it is they want, if not I would take it for myself. In a world of dog eat dog, you gotta be the one who eats. |
