RE: Begginer Electronic Hacking: Introduction - w00t - 03-21-2014 I would stick to things more advanced than soldering or saftey. Both of those should be basic skills you should get before even trying to fiddle with electronics While he doesn't seem to be directly angling toward hardware hacking, with rudimentary understanding of PCBs and wiring, you can make things happen. Hotwiring a modern car by crossing logic on the ECM? Not too hard. You could do weekend projects. I could help you as I have some (but little) experience. RE: Beginner Electronic Hacking: Introduction - Alan Turing - 03-23-2014 This is certainly interesting, I've heard little of this, so learning this will be fun. RE: Beginner Electronic Hacking: Introduction - Null_Byte - 03-23-2014 Sounds good mate. A few friends of mine are hardware hackers and we made a UAV with an Arduino. I'm really interested in seeing where you take this. RE: Beginner Electronic Hacking: Introduction - DarkMuse - 03-23-2014 So kind of an update: Tomorrow I will make a short introductory video on basic electronic-hacking skills such as: - Soldering Techniques - Good circuitry practice - Basic Calculations for values of Current, Voltage, resistance etc. - Useful Tips and Tricks for taking apart electronics - Etc. Hopefully I will get it edited and stuff in time for me to post it by the end of tomorrow as well. |
