That's like getting mad because someone said that you look good, it makes no sense. Well I would be jealous if I knew they were lying to me like for example sleeping with another woman! If I am in a relationship I want to KNOW that they are NOT going to do those type of things! I would want someone to be HONEST with me so if they did something I might be upset about than me and that person could calmly discuss what they did and why they did that way I could improve myself if is something I am doing wrong and vice versa, although I would never lie in a relationship. So you're telling me that you would actually manage to somehow control your anger and "jealousy" and have a normal conversation with your partner about who, what, when, where and why they had sex with someone besides you? If they're doing that then the answer is quite obvious, either A) You're dating someone who is a hornball or B) He/she has lost interest in you and wants out. Actually I am not in a relationship currently, but yes IF I was and I found out my partner for instance had a affair or something, then YES I would be more than willing to calmly talk to them like adults! That's what you say now. Just wait until you're in a relationship with someone and I bet that the outcome of you finding out that your partner cheated on you will be 99.9% different from what you're saying it will come out to be. RE: Should you always be honest with your partner? - Tr@ck3d - 12-28-2013 Both yes and no, I think that you can have secrets, but you shouldnt lie about things that your partner should know. RE: Should you always be honest with your partner? - Saikou - 12-28-2013 You should to a certain extent. Lying about things that matter a lot isn't okay at all. RE: Should you always be honest with your partner? - Silvinex - 12-28-2013 If the lie is extremely small fine, but you should keep the amount of them as low as possible. RE: Should you always be honest with your partner? - Dean Winchester - 12-28-2013 It's always a better option to be honest, no matter how much of a bad past you might have. RE: Should you always be honest with your partner? - Fallen - 01-02-2014 Personally, I think you should minimize the circumstances in which you would need to consider this. RE: Should you always be honest with your partner? - pandandesign - 02-18-2014 I think it depends on the situation. However, I personally think being honest to the person is just one way to keep any relationship going. I mean, unless you lie for a good cause, then honesty is one thing to go. |
