I've been on 3 of Chris' forums and he never really piggybacks HackForums. He only uses it when its really needed but besides that he leaves everything else up to the members and SEO.

I've been on his forums in the past too.
I'm just saying that whenever I see a thread in the showcase section of hackforums advertising a forum, I never expect it to be good.

In all honestly (not hating), but I think it's better than the "other HF". It already has a friendly community that's actually closer with each other, rather than a bunch of immature trolls (cross my fingers). The members here are mature, well-mannered, and have good grammar, so that's definitely a plus for me. I feel right at home. I also loved the theme as soon as I saw it.
Not to mention, HistoricForums has some really nice features and an admin that actually speaks to his community and listens.
