I know what you mean, but as my art teacher always tells me "Make sure you balance between Positive and Negative Space" you don't have to add much, maybe flare the text?

I didn't use a texture. If you are basing this off of my skill, then leave. This was the battle rules and I used the resources I had in hand.

You've managed to spam stocks and add unappealing text.
Get rid of some of those stocks, find a better font.
