Most of the sections aren't very active, and I don't see it to be a problem if someone posts a relevant comment on a thread from a couple of months back, especially if the thread was on page one of that section. It's the "thanks for the share lol." posts that are annoying.

This thread isn't all about gravedigging. This is about a thread creator having the ability to close it. Perhaps you don't want to close it for gravedigging reasons, maybe you got an answer and don't feel like getting 10k notifications from someone being late to the thread.

While that scenario is acceptable, closing a thread once its answered/contest over/etc, the original post on this thread was almost exclusively about gravedigging.

But everyone is talking about the fact that gravedigging is/isn't a problem, I was just pointing out the fact that the thread is about giving a certain permission, not to discuss gravedigging, and I gave a scenario to show that the permission can be used other than to prevent gravedigging.

It is bad. Nobody wants to see old inactive threads from a year ago. Report gravedigging. As for closing threads, we shall see.

Literally 2 seconds ago someone gravedug. And I've started to notice that it's the new guys that post on random threads so they can easily get their post count way up.

It's possible that they found the thread in a Google search and just want to reply on it.

Are they really going to sign up to Sinisterly JUST to make a post on a thread about how porn was found a child's Nintendo 3DS? Possible, but highly unrealistic.

Some people just like talking about porn on Nintendos.

How am I being a "prick" about it? You must not even know what that means

I just personally dislike this user, he lowers the quality of sinisterly.

Why do you put everyone in the same category assuming they don't like gravedigging? Not everyone thinks the same as you or bluescreen...

And you still haven't explained anything. All you said was "Nobody wants to see old inactive threads from a year ago." Explain how seeing old threads affects you.

In the original post you called him selfish, a pussy and a faggot. I dislike him to but I'm not going to be a complete asshole to him.
