Leaving the windows open wont change the amount of time you've spent online, unless you have an auto refresher or something.

Meant a feature for an addon that probably nobody here has.
But, looking at the feature, its an autorefresher.

Yeah, I don't use the addon much so in my mind I assumed it was a part of the browser.
