Exactly what i would have replied!
A majority of the time the users email upon creation of their account is different from that shown on their individual profiles.

Your FB email is generated off your FB userID AKA "username"
Like in the URL, it'll have like facebook.com/firstname.lastname.randomnumber
Even if you change your URL to be custom, your FB email still stays the same to the original "ID"
