RE: Quick question about computer storage? - c_smooth - 12-23-2014 Windows hasn't let you uninstall default programs since XP. The OEM, e.g. Dell, will put bloatware on your system, you can remove that if you want. Unless you're downloading several hundred GB of music, movies, or games hard drive space should be a problem. Also you will have some programs listed for your hardware, e.g. network adapter, you should keep that. Last but not least you could download, [url=http://www.revouninstaller.com/[/url] It has a built in search function for when you right click a piece of software, it will tell you whether you need it or not. Use the Moderate function, it will clean the program files folder. If you think you may have malware on your system, look for any suspicious dll's on your system.
